Okay, what are they doing to Sanjaya’s hair? The whole point of the hair was its floppiness! Now it’s all straight? Then there’s absolutely no reason to like him. Other than that he’s Indian. But whatever.

Well, that was better than the previous two weeks. Not saying a lot. At least he tried to do something cool in the middle…but it didn’t quite come off. And the other guys are, you know, better.

Except Sundance. He’s not better. I’m sorry, that was crap. Even if the judges like it, I didn’t. At all.

Chris Richardson

I like him, too. He’s always him, he’s always good. He strikes me as the sort of guy who’s going to be consistent, not necessarily ever surprisingly amazing, do good at all the themes, and sneak up to the top. And he’s so sweet!

Ooh, singing Stevie is really dangerous–Randy hates when other people sing Stevie. But he did a good job! Very nice. In fact, I think that’s his best performance so far. Ooh, Paula’s being harsh. Weird. I liked it, “original” or no.

Not bad, not bad. Better than last week. The judges are underwhelmed tonight, but nobody’s really BAD. The judges are just having very high expectations. Not that that’s bad. I’m just saying. But I enjoyed it. Hee. Paula thinks everyone should be in the Top 12.

Dude, lose the hat. You can’t be the bald guy on American Idol if we can’t see you’re bald. (Also, shaved != bald. I don’t think, anyway.) Bad song choice. Bad note hitting. Man, you disappoint me. First real disappointment of the evening for me.

I thought that was quite good! I liked the song, I like him. Paula didn’t get it because she and Simon were gossiping during his song instead of listening.

They’re showing all the weakest parts of everyone’s performances in the recap! That’s uncool!

I think Sanjaya and Brandon are going home. Brandon is forget-able and his voice has not been very good in the last few weeks. I like Sundance-the baby(aw) and the crying(aaaww) and besides he reminds me of Jamison;)

Being a huge Keith Urban fan I DID NOT like Chris Richardson’s version at all. But I can see why the judges liked it…although I thought he was pitchy in the beginning. Paula has actually been saying some halfway decent, relevant things lately. Randy is the wishy washy these days.

I’m a little torn on Chris R. I do think he gets a little nasally now and then, but overall I like him. Partially it’s his personality, I’ll grant that. And you’re right…Paula has been giving constructive criticism. I’m just so used to her being unconditionally supportive that it’s weird.
