I just posted my January recap with reactions to Bob Fosse’s film All That Jazz and the stage revue Fosse celebrating his work, so it makes sense to have some featured video of his work. This is the group number “Bye Bye Blackbird” from Fosse (originally from Liza With a Z, a show I know absolutely nothing about, except, I suppose, Fosse choreographed it). It’s a good example both of his evocative minimalism (a hand gesture carries as much power as anything else) and of his ability to work with large groups. The people who posted that video have basically all the numbers from Fosse up, so go to their user page to see more.
