Daniel Plainview wants to drink your milkshake. Literally. In the form of SNL’s Bill Hader’s spot-on impersonation of Daniel Day-Lewis (and his impersonation of Daniel Plainview). This clip? Better than There Will Be Blood itself. But then, I am biased. No Country for Old Men‘s Anton Chigurh also makes an appearance, as does Juno (less well-played, but then, the original is Ellen Page. What are you gonna do?). Probably better if you’ve seen at least TWBB and NCFOM, but the clip doesn’t really spoil the films, at least not any more than the trailers do.
