I agree with all of those three things, except I’m not particularly tired of Amanda yet. I find her entertaining and personable. But re: Ramiele, Carly, and Michael, yes. I’m not sure I’m “tired” of Carly–but I do think she looks scary when she sings. But if you close your eyes, she sounds great.

I’m glad Carly is still with us, but I knew Amanda’s days were numbered. I didn’t like her singing that much, but I appreciated something she said in an interview after being cut. She said getting kicked off wasn’t the worst thing that happened to her in her life and that she had just lost a contest on TV. I guess I think she seems like she has a pretty good head on her shoulders, even if all her songs sound the same.

Yeah, I’m sorry Amanda’s gone; I agree she couldn’t have lasted against most of the other people, but she had a really great attitude about the whole thing, and I think she’s got more musical integrity than some of the others. But then, not as much musical integrity as some of the others. ;) It is too bad she missed out going on the tour, though; she would’ve provided some good variety to the concert. Carly being in the bottom three was a shocker, no?

I really like Carly. I think she has the best voice of the women, in terms of finish. Also really like Michael. Remiele has always been boring to me…I just can’t get into her, though she does have a big voice for such a little body. I really like Brooke as a person, and she knows how to choose her reperatoire appropriately–not sure she has the umph to win, though.

There’s still something about Carly that rubs me the wrong way, and I don’t even know what it is. It’s weird. Almost the same thing with Michael (and it has nothing to do with their not being American–I’m sure you know that!). I didn’t post about the top ten because I watched it late and then just didn’t feel like it, but I was not nearly as impressed with his We are the Champions as the judges were. Probably because singing Queen unironically sort of makes me laugh. Agree about Ramiele. I’m done with her unless she steps it up mightily. I’m all about Brooke, though. Even if she can’t win (and I think you’re right, she won’t), I want her CD. It’s pretty much about Brooke and David Cook for me right now, with David Archuleta a close third, though I’m still predicting him for the win.

I agree with you, Jandy. I am all for David Cook and Brooke-she has so much appeal! I would get her cd, too. I feel the same way about David C as I did Chris Daughtry-I like him alot, but wouldn’t buy his cd or go to his concert. He is one amazing performer though.
