I'm a twenty-something film buff, music fan, internet addict, television nut, and gamer girl. That's what I usually put in for short bios. I've never actually written a full about page before, so we'll see how this goes.

Currently I live in Los Angeles. I moved here for the low cost of living. Somehow that's not working out so well. Actually, I moved here to be in a big city with plenty of stuff to do. My grad school town of Waco, Texas, wasn't doing much for me there. I needed lots of film stuff, lots of music stuff, and lots of warm, preferably dry, weather. LA met all the criteria, and I've only been remotely sorry I moved out here while I was unemployed this fall. Because that cost of living really is a bitch.

Thankfully, I am now employed, as the Product Manager for an affiliate advertising network. Don't worry if you don't know what that means; no one else I know does either, though you probably do if you run a website. Or run ads on websites. Or through e-mail. Anyway, I get to hang out with cool internety people, get paid, and sometimes code some web pages on the side.

So this photo is from 2002, when I was studying in England and took a week's trip to Italy. And rode gondolas. One gondola. Do you know how expensive gondolas are? Anyway. Yeah, I'm not the biggest for having my picture taken, so there aren't really a lot of good ones taken more recently. As soon as there is one, I'll see about getting it up here.
