Only five more days until Mass Effect 2 is released! Bioware’s hotly-anticipated second game in the proposed Mass Effect trilogy looks to be even more epic than the first one, and based on interviews and articles, sounds like it will fix most of the problems I had with the first game (my review is here). I’ve been looking forward to this one for a long time, and the advance buzz is really good. Guessing I won’t be disappointed.
Glastonbury Festivals – Line-Up – Oh. Dear. God. It'd be faster to write up who's NOT going to be at this festival than who is. Lucky Brits.
Getafilm: The Favorite Movie Period/Place Meme – Daniel Getahun starts a meme asking for your favorite cinematic time/place – what film has a specific temporal and spatial setting that you wish you could be part of?
Doodad Kind of Town: Looking Forward to: "Nine" – Oh, I never realized that Nine was itself based on a stage play homage to Fellini's 8 1/2. I knew there was Fellini in there somewhere, but that explains a lot.
A videogame villain gets tired of being the villain and goes to the Casting Game Center to see if he can find a different role to play. Really funny short, with more video game references than I have a chance of seeing. A lot of the references are older, too, which is fun–Mario, Sonic, and even Carmen Sandiego! Oh, how I used to love that game. And I’ll swear his apartment is the one from Indigo Prophecy, but I haven’t seen anyone else mention that, so I could be wrong.

Currently I live in Los Angeles. I moved here for the low cost of living. Somehow that is not working out so well. Actually, I moved here to be in a big city with plenty of stuff to do. I needed lots of film stuff, lots of music stuff, and lots of warm, preferably dry, weather. LA met all the criteria, and so far I still completely love being here.
