T<\/span>here aren’t too many movies I refuse to see – in the right mood and with the right people, even bad and stupid movies can be really fun. And I’m not too easily offended, but one movie that I’m pretty much not willing to test that out with is Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Salo: 120 Days of Sodom<\/em>, based on the writings of the Marquis de Sade (from who we get our word “sadism”). I saw and hated Quills<\/em>, a movie that’s merely about the Marquis de Sade, and I’m not willing to subject myself to anything else related to him. Simply not my thing, even if it is endorsed by the Criterion Collection.
