And the standout this week has to be <i>The Office<\/i> Season 3.  <i>The Office<\/i> has consistently been one of the best shows on television for at least the last two years, and it&#8217;s one of very, very few sitcoms I can even stand (possibly because, like <i>Arrested Development<\/i>, it has much more of a season\/series arc than most comedies).  And last year&#8217;s season finale won my award for best season finale of the year&#8211;and I watched, like, twenty shows last year.  This year promises to be similarly excellent, so catch up now!<\/p>\n<p>Other recommended TV releases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B000RBA6CO?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=thecuttinroom-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B000RBA6CO\" target=\"_blank\"><i>30 Rock<\/i>: Season One<\/a> (one of the other very few sitcoms I really like; it ended up being one of my top two or three new shows last season)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B000P6YNTI?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=thecuttinroom-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B000P6YNTI\" target=\"_blank\"><i>Desperate Housewives<\/i>: Season Three<\/a> (guilty pleasure show remains guilty, but there are a lot of good moments in S3&#8211;probably more than there were in S2)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B000RO6JY0?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=thecuttinroom-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B000RO6JY0\" target=\"_blank\"><i>Prison Break<\/i>: Season Two<\/a> (I&#8217;m recommending this to myself, too&#8211;I stopped watching halfway through the season, but I&#8217;ve heard it got a lot more interesting after I stopped, so I&#8217;m contemplating Netflixing the second half)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B000R7HXZ6?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=thecuttinroom-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B000R7HXZ6\" target=\"_blank\"><img src='http:\/\/www.the-frame.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/09\/stephanie_daley.thumbnail.jpg' alt='Stephanie Daley' align='right' \/><\/a>Movie DVD of the Week&#8230;I haven&#8217;t seen any of the movies being released.
