A new Pixar movie means? Rejoicing! Although I haven’t seen WALL-E yet. Because I am a bad fan. Soon. Every Pixar movie, though, I see the trailer and I’m like, how are they gonna pull this off? An animated family movie with a 70-something crotchety protagonist? Then again, their short Geri’s Game was about an aging gentleman chess player, and that was fantastic. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to trust Pixar.

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are working on a new film! Edgar Wright isn’t directing it, like he did Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, though. Still. Awesome.
So my plan for buying an Xbox360 largely involves not eating out ever. Which is saving me about $10 a week. At that rate, I can get a 360 in like three years. I might modify my plan, however, because there are a lot of really great games coming out for it, [...]
The fall TV season is nearly upon us again, and I can’t wait! On the other hand, there are so many things I want to watch that I’m going to be overwhelmed within a few weeks. Thank goodness for DVRs, but there are still some timeslots that have three or four things I [...]
Okay, now, both sources I’m using for movie release information (IMDb and FirstShowing.net) say that David Cronenberg’s Eastern Promises is opening in wide release this week. I don’t know how wide “wide” is, though, since it isn’t playing in Austin or St. Louis, and is only in one theatre in Dallas. Still. [...]
