A new Pixar movie means? Rejoicing! Although I haven’t seen WALL-E yet. Because I am a bad fan. Soon. Every Pixar movie, though, I see the trailer and I’m like, how are they gonna pull this off? An animated family movie with a 70-something crotchety protagonist? Then again, their short Geri’s Game was about an aging gentleman chess player, and that was fantastic. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to trust Pixar.

The girls who left were both in my bottom four. Didn’t turn out too well for either [...]
I didn’t liveblog the Oscars because I was busy hosting an awesome Oscar party with awesome people at it. It was the most fun ever. And it only made it better that the Academy got most everything exactly right! I got 14 out of 24 categories right (that’s after I changed my [...]
I just posted my January recap with reactions to Bob Fosse’s film All That Jazz and the stage revue Fosse celebrating his work, so it makes sense to have some featured video of his work. This is the group number “Bye Bye Blackbird” from Fosse (originally from Liza With a Z, a show I [...]
The good part about being home from school for the first half of January? LOTS of time to watch LOTS of movies. The bad part about going back to school for the second half of January? No time to write about all those movies from the first half. This is why I [...]
