American Idol: Top Eight Girls

You know the worst thing about watching American Idol live? I have to tune to Fox a few minutes before seven, and Two and a Half Men reruns are on, and it sucks. Why can’t they have, say, Arrested Development reruns, or Family Guy reruns, or something good reruns? No. Two and a Half Men.

The kids and I were teasing that Brooke had a ring pop on her hand. Maybe they were giving those out and Kristie already finished hers;)

I tried to comment yesterday on the guys but got booted off. John and I had to rewind to watch Jason’s performance because we did not think it matched up to the judges praises either.

btw, I am happy with the top twelve. Will they still be able to use instruments?

  3. Hee! It did look like a ring-pop. It was distracting at any rate.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who wasn’t wowed by Jason this week. I still really like him and I’m thrilled he’s in the top twelve, but I liked his other performances better. Could be just because I’ve heard other [better] versions of Hallelujah way too many times.

Yeah, I’m very happy with the top twelve. I’m personally taking credit for Kristy getting in. She’s not my favorite, but there’s something winning about her that makes me want to see more of her, so I threw votes her way last night. Which tipped the scales in her favor, I’m sure. ;) They better still be able to use instruments! That’s the best part!

Well, thanks for doing your part for Kristy. Maybe you have some horse/dog connection with her;)

I am mostly happy that Danny went off.

We are predicting that many girls will go off before guys now that they are together.

  7. Maybe that’s what it is! And I agree about Danny. It was time for him. You’re probably right about the girls going faster than the boys, too. The boys, on average, are stronger this year.
